Halloween & House Update

It's been a month without anything too big happening so...due for an update.
Oct 17-24: Emmett was the student of the week at kindergarten. He has been counting down the weeks until his turn, and he ate up every second of it. The boys helped me clean out the coop to have everything fresh for winter. We also did a dump run and got rid of lots of junk around the house/yard to get ready for the incoming snow.

Oct 25-Nov 1: this officially marked the last nice week of fall for us. Halloween was epic this year. Being pregnant, I'd been thinking of what costume I wanted to be for months and decided on a gumball machine. Emmett and Logan both took turns hot gluing the pompoms to my shirt. Logan got himself a nasty burn from the glue gun - poor buddy. Our house progress is coming right along. they began framing the roof.

Emmett: dilophosaurus. Logan: fireman. Me: gumball machine. Beckham: mini gumball machine.

Chandos made this epic firetruck to go with Logan's costume <3 love her!

Boo on the Boulevard after school on Monday.

Emmett's art amazes me. He free-handed this! He is six!

Logan caught a candid moment with this sweet boy

I got a brand new car seat on classifieds for cheap - yay!

Arco put on a carnival for the kids on Saturday.

I zipped to the pediatric dentist to check out Beckham's teeth. I'm trying to get a few of those annoying things all done before baby comes. His teeth are perfect!

He loved the train set at the office.

He snuggled right up to Emmett one morning...I barely missed it.

Nov 1-8: we had Justin's birthday! The kids helped me make an R2D2 cake. We got him a ATAT lego set.

Whole roof is framed.

Nov 8-13: we decorated for Christmas extra early this year. One more thing to cross of the list as we prepare for this baby. It snowed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night and hasn't melted off yet because it's been soooo cold. Like- the high has been 20 degrees. So if we're already going to deal with the cold and wind, we might as well have some cheer. For the house, despite the weather they managed to get a roof on everything except the garage.

Emmett came down with something - who knows what - this weekend. Poor buddy has had lots of rest.

Mom watched the kids for me while I went to an orthodontist appointment. Logan is dressed for success on this 3 degree morning!

Anna found an oldie but a goodie: here we are shooting skeet on Thanksgiving 2009 with Dad attempting to throw it... sooooo funny
